Diocesan Fee Procedure - Updated with effect from the 1st January 2017
The Diocesan Fee Procedure was issued in December 2012 to clarify the Diocesan procedures for Parochial fees in a single document. This was deemed important when taking into account the changes passed by the General Synod which came into effect from the 1st January 2013.
Please note that procedure has been updated, with effect from the 1st January 2017.
The Diocese has also issued a shorter guidance document for funeral directors to clarify the changes in fees and the Diocesan procedure which will be sent to them by post in mid-April. As there is no central register of funeral directors, it may be possible that not all are covered by this mailout. Therefore, a copy of this document can be found on this page.
