RE Local Groups in our Diocese
The following local groups meet in our Diocese regularly. All types of school and academy are welcome to these meetings which are run by teachers for teachers. The meetings are free of charge.
The following groups are specifically supported by Kathryn Wright ( Diocese of Norwich RE Adviser) and the RE leads meet together once a term to share ideas and take these back to their network groups.
Norfolk/Suffolk Border Group
A small group meeting in south Norfolk/north Suffolk. They have been focusing on developing RE in Key Stage 1 through sharing effective practice and ‘lesson study’.

East Coast RE
A large, vibrant and dynamic network group with its own website. Meets regularly in the Great Yarmouth area for joint planning and hosts network events.

Hethersett Cluster Group
A group who meet ‘virtually’ to share ideas and plan.

North Norfolk RE Hub
Based in and around the Fakenham area. Join Sarah for discussions about RE, share effective practice and even plan for your RE quality mark award.

Norwich Primary RE Network
A lively, diverse group who enjoy discussing the nitty gritty of RE. They meet at St Michael’s VA Junior school on the western edge of Norwich. They meet termly- a couple of weeks after the local leader’s forum.

The Hobart Cluster Group
A small group who meet to share ideas and plan together. Many in the group have obtained the RE Quality Mark award and want to build on their success and support others.

A new group who hope to meet soon in the Morley/Tacolneston area of South Norfolk.

This hub provides mentoring and support for secondary schools working towards RE Quality Mark, and hosts meetings to focus on small scale action research and subject knowledge enhancement.
