Bishop Graham and Rachel Usher would like to invite those involved with the Diocese of Norwich and their friends to visit their famous garden and help support this year’s Bishop’s Lent Appeal.

Admission is free, though it is hoped that visitors will generously support this year’s appeal. This year as a diocese we will be joining together to give towards the Archbishop of Canterbury’s ‘Together in Unity’ appeal to support churches and communities around the world during the pandemic. Having taken advice, social distancing, a one way system and hand sanitising will all be observed on the day. Numbers will be strictly limited and there will be gaps for the Bishop’s House team to clean chairs and handrails.

Unfortunately no catering will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own picnic. Based on the current government plans for that period picnics must be limited to 6 people or 2 households.

Plant and honey sales using a contactless card, or ‘cash in bucket’, system will be operating.

To book free tickets please register using Eventbrite:

Sunday 18 April

Bishop Graham and Rachel would be delighted if you were able to join them but please note these plans are subject to change depending on coronavirus restrictions at the time.

The garden will also be open over ten weekends later in the summer to support local charities; see more information here.
