Executive Headteacher of Ditchingham Church of England Primary Academy, Heather Brand said that she is delighted to share that the school has been graded ‘good’ in all areas.

Mrs Brand said: “The lead inspector found that pupils enjoy their learning because the curriculum is well thought out, broad and interesting and that the pupils are proud of their achievements.  It was lovely to that the report said that our children get off to a flying start in their education and that they practice what they learn in lessons as they explore the stimulating environment.”

She continued: “Ofsted were pleased with the love of reading that is apparent throughout the school and that the teachers make sure everyone in school enjoys reading. Their enthusiasm is infectious.”

Oliver Burwood, CEO of Diocese of Norwich and Academies Trust (DNEAT) said: “We’re immensely proud of the children, staff and community at Ditchingham Church of England Primary Academy. This report highlights the tremendous improvement seen at the school and this is even more impressive since much of the improvement took place in the depths of the pandemic.”

Mrs Brand said: “’I’d like to thank our wonderful children, staff and governors for their hard work and commitment. I am pleased that during the inspection Ofsted found that, ‘Every parent who responded to Ofsted Parent View, Ofsted’s online survey, said that their child feels safe and happy at school.’ We will continue to work together with community on our exciting journey going forwards.”
