The people in the village of Aslacton have been asked by Saint Michaels church if they would like to participate in a reverse advent calendar during November. Each day, instead of getting something out of a Calendar you put an item of food in a box at the end of November, we are asking that the boxes are brought to church where we will collect them up and take them to our local food bank for distribution. The local school is also involved in this. Even if people can only give a couple of things every little helps.
