St Cuthbert’s Church in Thetford was packed full for the ‘Together at Christmas’ community service on 8 December 2024.
The service was hosted by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, the Lady Dannatt MBE and supported by the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Revd Peter Herbert led the welcome and service which included carol singing and a message from Lady Dannatt. The Bishop of Thetford, the Rt Revd Ian Bishop gave the Christmas message.
The service also included music from pupils at Thetford Academy, Thetford Grammar School and the Thetford singers. A retiring collection was taken to support the work in Thetford of Norfolk Community Foundation’s ‘A Better Childhood’ fund.
