Walsingham offers warm living room and hot meals

Walsingham Parish is in the top 12% of the most deprived parishes in the country. The parish team behind the living room project aims to provide a space in the village that is warm, welcoming, hospitable, suitable for all ages and centered on worship. The day will centre on the Mass at 12 noon, with food and drinks served throughout the day and a hot meal at lunchtime.

Anyone is welcome to drop in or come and spend the day at Walsingham village hall when the ‘living room’.

Priest, Fr Harri Williams says: “This is a home from home for anyone of any age who might be in need of warmth, food or company. There will be books, magazines as well as games, craft activities and toys for children, along with people to chat to and a hot meal for all at 1pm.”
