Cringleford Pioneer Missioner contributes to popular bible notes book

Norwich based pioneer missioner Revd Tim Yau is one of 50 writers from across the globe that have contributed to the new edition of bible notes book Fresh from the Word 2019.

Fresh from the Word 2019 is a paperback book offering a daily Bible reading plan that offers inspiration and practical ideas for people to use in their daily lives, for those both new and mature in their faith.

The Revd Tim Yau is Mission Enabler and Pioneer Missioner for the Diocese based in Cringleford. His contribution to the book is based on the gospel of Luke.

Fresh from the Word 2019 provides 365 sets of notes, prayers and suggestions for action on biblical themes. The notes are written by over 50 theologians and biblical scholars; creative and inspirational writers from around the world.

The 2019 notes also address themes such as the power of the word, music in the Bible, fruit of the Spirit and gossip. It takes the Bible to the movies, and to the beach. It also has continuous readings through the books of Luke, Philippians, Psalms, Daniel, Deuteronomy, and Romans 1–8. This year’s edition also features writers from Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Nigeria, and the Caribbean, as well as Wales, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, and many other places.
