Dickleburgh Church of England Primary Academy, part of the Beacon Federation within St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, has received a glowing Ofsted report following its first inspection since it joined the Trust.
All categories across the Ofsted inspection received an Outstanding rating: quality of education, pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership & management, and early years provision, in an inspection carried out in November 2024.
The report highlighted that:
The school is rightly proud of its ability to support and develop new teachers and future school leaders. Trust leaders, school leaders and school staff are all committed to bringing the school’s vision to fruition. Staff feel supported. The school shares its best practice willingly and welcomes support and challenge. The trust’s systems of support provide ways for school staff to feel and be part of something bigger.
Moira Croskell, Executive Headteacher of the school, said: “I am absolutely delighted with the outcome of this inspection and the recognition of all the amazing opportunities we provide for our pupils. I am so pleased that they could see how hard the staff work to develop our pupils both academically but also personally.”
Pupils at the school said:
“I am not surprised. We are a great school, we got 5 out of 5!” Jesse in Year 6 “I am really proud to be at this school-it’s amazing!” Summer in Year 6 “I have been here all my life, since Pre-School, and I love this school, we did so well.” Daisy in Year 6
Richard Cranmer, CEO of St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, said: “To receive the highest possible judgements in every category from OFSTED is an incredible achievement and my thanks go to everyone involved in the school community for providing a world class education for the children at Dickleburgh Primary Academy.”
