Four people will be licensed as Lay Ministers in the Diocese of Norwich on Saturday 21 September by the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher.
A Licensed Lay Minister is a voluntary minister authorised by the bishop to teach and preach, conduct worship and assist with the pastoral ministry of a church. You can read more about the role here: Licensed Lay Ministers – Diocese of Norwich
If you feel called to support a church in this way, then we are currently running a Shared Vocations Space, a series of six sessions to explore Licensed Ministry within the Diocese of Norwich. You can read more about this programme here: Shared Vocation Space – Diocese of Norwich
The celebration of Licensed Lay Ministers service is at Norwich Cathedral, starting at 10.30am. All are very welcome to attend.
