* look around a little-visited church that has stood north of the city centre since 1904;
• view the old font, the beautiful stained-glass windows and a number of old documents, all of which originated from our sister
church, St James (now the Puppet Theatre).
• examine photographs and maps relating to our history.
• see the beautiful full-size reproductions of our medieval panel paintings from St James, photographed by Paul Oliver.
• find out about the Pockthorpe Cope, made in 1480 and now kept in the Castle Museum; the oldest garment of its type last worn in
the 1970’s.
• hear memories of long-standing parishioners and see a 1950’s cine film depicting life at St Mary Magdalene.
