The well known professional cellist, Orlando Jopling, will be returning to St. Nicholas Church, to give a performance of the 2nd and 3rd Cello Suites by J.S.Bach, also the First Cello Suite by Benjamin Britten. This will be his third concert, having previously performed all six Bach Cello Suites in St. Nicholas Church.

Encounter is a termly youth worship event that brings young people together from across the region for worship, games, teaching and food. This is one of a range of events across the diocese run in collaboration with local Youth for Christ centres and other churches. There is also and annual Encounter Youth Camp.
