There has already been a flowering of creativity and immense compassion shown since lockdown began in March, but it is hard to see matters easing now and further support will be needed for the most vulnerable for some time to come.

We have therefore revisited the criteria for accessing grants through the Growth in Service Fund, set up under Mission Strategy 2021.

We want to hear from you if your work responding to Covid-19 would benefit from a grant of up to £1,000.

Projects aimed at helping people have access to food and essential non-food items, through foodbanks, community fridges or the provision of meals is one obvious example. However, you may have other initiatives in mind or already underway that would benefit the most vulnerable.

Applications need to include a brief description of the project with an indication of how the money will be spent. They need to confirm that they are supported by the incumbent and Rural Dean and need be no more than a side of A4.

Applications should be submitted in the form of an email to Karen Hall (karen.hall@dioceseofnorwich.org) and the Archdeacon for the area in which the project will be based.
