This is the service where the members of the clergy renew their ordination vows, where the oils of the sick, of baptism and of chrism are blessed, and where both the clergy and lay people commit themselves in their ministry for the coming year.
This service is always very well attended, with more family members and lay people taking part. The liturgy included an opportunity for lay people to commit themselves afresh to supporting clergy in their ministry as a priest or deacon in preparation for the renewal of baptismal promises.
With readings by Richard Butler and Liz Dawes. The sermon was by Bishop of Lynn, the Rt Revd Jonathan Meyrick.
A light lunch was followed after.
Below are some photographs that provide some highlights of this special service.
