Modern slavery

Modern slavery is an umbrella term for all forms of slavery, trafficking and exploitation.

This is the Church of England body for work with victims of modern slavery. Its aim is to enable Church of England dioceses and wider church networks to raise awareness of modern slavery, identify victims and to help provide victim support and care. They have training, resources and support for you and your church.

They have developed the Safe Car Wash app to collect data on hand car washes in the UK and identify potential instances of modern slavery and also the Farm Work Welfare app to raise awareness of modern slavery and give support to those connected to the farming industry to avoid such instances.
