Easter packs a treat for Peterhouse Academy families

Mr Ryan Freeman, Headteacher of Peterhouse Church of England Primary Academy said: “After the success of our Peterhouse Pancake Packs, we sent home 160 Easter Hot-Cross Hampers. Parents were able to sign up for a free Easter pack which included fresh hot-cross buns, jam, butter, chocolate treats and Easter activities.”

He added: “We feel that after the COVID pandemic and repeated lockdowns, there should be no family missing out on the fun times that life has to offer. We hope that these packs will allow our families to celebrate the hope of Easter without putting extra strain on their family budgets.”

The response this time round from our parents is double the one we had for the Peterhouse pancake packs, with 160 families and over 200 children benefiting.

This has all been made possible by wonderful grant funding from Pilgrims and the Greggs Foundation.
