Pancakes for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal

After not being able to gather together for such a long time due to Covid, the Parish Support Team decided to organise a social pancake-lunch to support the Bishop’s Lent Appeal. Bishop Alan and Diocesan Secretary, Tim Sweeting were both in attendance at the fun event.

They tucked into pancakes with lemon and sugar on or fruit and ice cream, expertly made by former chef and staff member Robert Culyer. For a donation, anyone at Diocesan House could enjoy the delicious pancakes on offer and each other’s company.

The Team are thrilled to announce that they were able to raise £177.50 on the day – money that will go towards the purchase of beds for Sag Sag Health Centre in Papua New Guinea.
