Programme Manager

35 hrs per week (ft) (Consideration will be given to applicants wishing to work part-time (a minimum of 28 hours per week))

This is a fixed term role for two years with the potential for continuation, subject to funding.

£44,449 pa

This is an opportunity to support the development, and lead the programme management, of a portfolio of projects aligned to diocesan and national church outcomes that will significantly increase the impact of mission and ministry efforts in the Diocese.

The successful applicant will be someone who has the desire and interest to shape and embed new systems, processes and approaches, as we form our strategy and all that is needed to make our vision a reality.

This is a full-time role with options available around flexible and hybrid working.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the development of a strategic framework to enhance Christian mission and ministry in the diocese.
  • Facilitating the effective functioning of a governance framework for our programme.
  • Day to day management of the programme including proactively monitoring both individual projects and overall progress, coordinating and facilitating day to day implementation of work, resource procurement and impact analysis.
  • Contributing to the completion of successful funding applications to support the programme.
