Visit the Bishop’s Gardens in Norwich

Bishop Graham and Rachel Usher are very sad that charity garden days have not been able to happen so far this year. They are opening their famous garden for two Saturdays in June for those involved with the Diocese of Norwich and their friends.

Admission is free, though it is hoped that visitors will generously support this year’s Bishop’s Lent Appeal to raise funds to buy a vehicle for the Diocese of Dogura. Dogura is in an incredibly remote part of Papua New Guinea and a vehicle is needed for education and medical provision for the local community. For more information on the Lent Appeal, please click here.

Having taken advice, social distancing, a one way system and hand sanitising will all be observed on the day. Numbers will be strictly limited and there will be gaps for the Bishop’s House team to clean chairs and handrails.

Unfortunately no catering will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own picnic.

Plant and honey sales using a contactless card, or ‘cash in bucket’, system will be operating.
